The project delivers essential data to the Norwegian Coastal Surveillance Programme and contributes to the European and Norwegian space agencies' programme for ensuring the quality of satellite data.
The data is also used for monitoring toxic algae blooms in Danish and Norwegian coastal waters. A number of aquaculture operations are located in the Norwegian coastal areas.
