Ethics and social responsibility

NIVA's task is to produce research-based knowledge about the water environment to be used as a basis for societal policy and decision making. Our research scientists must adhere to all the norms for research regarding openness, quality and integrity.

In our business activities we conform to international conventions regarding human rights, working conditions, the environment and sustainable development. 

We are engaged in counteracting corruption and in handling grey areas in an appropriate manner.
