Kofi holds PhD in Economics with a specialization in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from University of Gothenburg, Sweden. His research uses stated preference methods to value non-market goods and services; and develops bioeconomic models for sustainable natural resource management. Kofi obtains MSc in Development and Resource Economics from Norwegian University of Life Sciences and BA in Economics from University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He has worked in research and project management capacities at University of Cape Coast, UN Environment and UiT-The Arctic University of Norway. At NIVA, Kofi will work as a research scientist in the Section for Water and Society.
