Idun Rognerud is a research scientist at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research, Section for Water and Society. She holds an MA in Sustainable Development and Geography from the University of Edinburgh, and an MSc. in Water Science, Policy and Management from the University of Oxford.
Her research interests lie in the intersection between natural and social sciences, with a particular focus on behavioural interventions, policy and systems approaches to tackling pollution. At NIVA, Rognerud is currently working on several initiatives on plastics pollution and river basin management in South-East Asia, as well as on global policy on plastic pollution.
