Idun Rognerud is a research assistant at the Norwegian Institute for Water Research, Section for water and society. She is a geographer educated at the University of Edinburgh, and completed her second master's degree in water science, policy and management at the University of Oxford. Her research interests lie in the intersection between natural and social sciences, with a particular focus on behavioural interventions and systems approaches to tackling pollution. At NIVA, Rognerud is currently working on several initiatives on plastics pollution and river basin management in South-East Asia.
