NIVA Region West
NIVA Region West is located in Bergen.
At NIVA Region West we study and work with coastal possibilities and environmental challenges, including aquaculture, climate change and ocean acidification, blue growth through green restructuring, and sustainability.
The aquaculture industry as an actor in the coastal areas is central: clean food from the sea with reduced organic footprint, new sustainable production methods, new breeding species and new farming concepts.
