"Ecosystem effects of Ocean Acidification Northern waters" (ECOAN) is a Norwegian Fram Centre Flagship project running 2015-2017. NIVA is involved in WP3 "Coupled climate-ecosystem-acidification modeling from organism to basin" in three sub-projects: WP3-OA8 "Validation and comparison of coupled physical-biogeochemical models", WP3-OA9 "Investigate pelagic ecosystem sensitivity and feedbacks to Arctic ocean", and WP3-OA11 "Benthic-pelagic coupling of Arctic Ocean acidification".
