Funding sources and main project partners

The INOPOL project is funded by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi and the Norwegian Development Assistance Program Against Marine Litter and Microplastics. The project will contribute to the latter’s overarching goal to prevent and substantially reduce the scope of marine litter from sources in developing countries. 

INOPOL builds on a well-established and successful partnership between the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA), Mu Gamma Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (MGC), The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Toxics Link (TL), and SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM).
