Plankton algae surveys for fish and shellfish farmers

The Norwegian Food Safety Authority requires a plankton algal survey at shell farming locations before giving the farmers permission to harvest. NIVA offers this service for the shell farmers. Harmful and toxic plankton algae occasionally cause problems for fish farmers killing fish or lowering the fish appetite. NIVA offers algal survey for the fish farmers.
