NIVA's research station Solbergstrand

Solbergstrand is owned and operated by NIVA, and has a wide range of facilities. The station has expertise in smoking and assistance in connection with research on aquaculture, pharmaceuticals (human health and aquaculture), filter technologies, as well as various mesocosm projects in hard bottom and soft bottom. The research station is an important provider of infrastructure for testing ballast water technologies.
