I have completed my Master in Environmental Biology in the University of Crete. My master thesis focused on the effects of environmental parameters in the development of the caudal fin in zebrafish. In 2017 I moved to Norway, where I was part of a Marie-Curie ITN network as a PhD student at NMBU. My research focused on the short and long-term effects of developmental exposure in zebrafish exposed to anthropogenic chemicals, using behavioral, molecular and developmental data. I am employed as a Post Doc in NIVA and will contribute to the RiskAOP project that aims “to develop next generation approaches for cost-efficient chemical safety evaluation and reduced laboratory animal tests” (https://www.niva.no/en/projectweb/riskaop).
