Summary

The first part of the report gives a short overview of the present knowledge about aquatic macrophytes in Norwegian brackish water. The second part describes the aquatic macrophytes in the Gunneklevfjord. Ecological status and value for Gunneklevfjord based on macrophytes is suggested. Compared to other similar localities with low salinity, Gunneklevfjord has higher number of species, but fewer red list species.
