Summary
Storelva has been limed since 1996, but the expected increase in salmon catches following liming has not occurred. A program starting in 2003 concluded that the cause was not conditions within the river. There is no clear reason why seawater survival of salmon should be reduced in salmon from this river relative to neighboring rivers.
