Section: Økotoksikologi og risikovurdering
Prem Chand works as a PhD student in the section for Ecotoxicology and Risk Assessment, mainly in the field of ecotoxicology. His area of expertise is the development of cell-based in vitro methods to study interactions with cell membranes, uptake mechanisms, cellular localization, and toxicity of chemicals that can be used to predict toxic effects in vivo. Prem works primarily with cell-based laboratory work, develops new methods for acute and long-term fish toxicity and evaluating the bioconcentration potential of chemicals using developed methods, toxicogenomics and metabolomics.
