BlueMissionAA is building a coordination hub to support the Mission Ocean Implementation in the Atlantic and Arctic Basin. It will focus on preserving and restoring marine and coastal ecosystems and biodiversity for increased climate resilience.

BLUE CONNECT is a Horizon Europe (EU) funded project that aims to enhance marine ecosystem resilience and promote sustainable stewardship of Europe's coastal and offshore habitats through collaboration and involvement with government agencies, local MPA managers and stakeholder groups.

C-BLUES is a Horizon Europe initiative focused on advancing knowledge, understanding, policy implementation and management of blue carbon ecosystems through EU-China cooperation.

EcoScope will develop an efficient, holistic, ecosystem-based approach to sustainable fisheries management that can be easily used by stakeholders and end-users, including policymakers and advisory bodies. 

PAPILLONS' overall aim is to shed light on the sustainability of plastic use in European agriculture in terms of emissions of micro- and nanoplastics, leakage of their chemical additives, and the impact of this on the soil. Through novel applications of the latest in analytical chemistry, materials science, computer modelling and nanofabrication technologies, we elucidate the sources, behavior and impacts of particles at micro- and nanoscale.

NIVA coordinates this 3-year Horizon Europe-funded project that explores and strengthens policy coherence and institutional integration in coastal and marine governance in Europe. 

INOPOL (India-Norway cooperation project on capacity building for reducing plastic and chemical pollution in India) is a collaborative project between NIVA, which leads the project, with MGC as India country lead and several Indian institutions (SRM, CIPET, Toxics Link). The project is part of the Norway-India Marine Pollution Initiative established between Indian and Norwegian authorities in 2019. The project is also part of NORAD’s programme to combat microplastics and marine pollution.

ENCORE is led by Karel Viaene at ARCHE Consulting. The objective of ENCORE is to develop a probabilistic modelling framework for estimation of environmental risk of chemical mixtures in watersheds across Europe.
