Claudia's professional career started in science and research and led through various stations finally to the field of international science and project management. She has been first the Assistant (from 2017) and later the Administrative Manager (from 2019) of the European Topic Centre Inland, Coastal and Marine Waters (ETC ICM) which was led by the Helmholtz-Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ). Before, she worked as a research scientist at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg in the field of Education, Vocation and Media and as project manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF. Here, her work focussed on the topic 'Mass Customization'. She gained her M.A. in Cultural][Engineering and B.A. in European Studies and has studied one semester at Utrecht University School of Governance. Following the motto "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts" her professional heart as Administrative Manager of the European Topic Centre Biodiversity and Ecosystems (ETC BE) beats for facilitating (scientific) collaboration and enabling synergies. With a high level of commitment, team spirit, organizational skills, and goal-oriented work she supports Thorjørn Larssen on managing the ETC BE and its 24 partners.
