Federico performed his education mainly in Italy, where he studied the teratogenic effect on tunicate organism during his bachelor in natural science at the University og Milan. Thereafter, through the master’s degree in science and technology for environment and landscape, he made a G.I.S. based model to quantify the input of chlorine ions in Iseo lake.
Now established in Flekkefjord, he is collaborating both with the private and the public sector on projects aiming at establishing a sustainable and knowledge-based blue regional development. Federico’s research activity is focused on Sustainable aquaculture, Ecotoxicology, Remote sensing and GIS analysis topics.
When water temperatures allow it, he loves to scuba dive and during holiday he travels often to Italy to help in the family wine yard.
