Ingvild Skumlien Furuseth (F) is an environmental economist working at section for Water and Society. In her position, she works on a range of research projects related to ecosystem services valuation, financing mechanisms and policies as means to support sustainable measures and reduce negative environmental effects. Topic wise, she mostly focusses on urban climate change adaptation (i.e. stormwater management), water management and aquaculture. She conducts economic analysis of ecosystem services, suggested measures and interventions, including willingness-to-pay assessments such as revealed and stated preferences studies as well as cost-benefit analysis. In addition to stakeholder interviews and surveys, she also works with stakeholder involvement through co-creation and collaboration.
